Character Creation

Normally I would begin by saying there are three tiers of experience you may use to create your character. I think I am only going with two tiers this time, mainly because I am hoping we will get some mortals in the game as well as the supernaturals and I would like to keep things relatively balanced.

1. Beginner (0-60)- Every starting player must begin with a character in this tier. I realize we will have some rather experienced players, however I would prefer that everyone at least start on the same level. You do not have to use all 60 points when making your character, but keep in mind there is no left over experience. Once your character has been sent to the ST and approved, all excess xp will be lost.

2. Mainstream (61-160)- This tier will be available to player once they have made a Beginner character and have played that same character for at least three months. You cannot make one character, play it for a week, then make another character and play it for three weeks, then begin on a third and expect to be allowed to make a character under the second tier. You must play one character for three months at the minimum to be eligible for a Mainstream character. Again, there is no left over experience once a Mainstream character is finished and approved.

Currently we do not have a character sheet form available for you to fill out and send to the ST. We ask that you creat a sheet in the format below and PM it to Arachnis for approval.

Normally I would list any banned books, bloodlines, powers, merits etc here. However I am hoping to have a variety of everything and I do not want to be too restrictive. So if you send in a character sheet or a concept and I reject it, please don't take it personally. I will most likely only reject it if the character is severely unbalanced or the type of character is too destructive for the site concept.

I do have a few simple restrictions for Beginning characters regarding traits:

-You may choose three traits (skills, merits, abilities, supernatural powers etc) to have at 4. Nothing at 5.

-Backgrounds are required for all characters. I do not expect novels, so they don't have to be incredibly long.

-If you chooce to take status please have an explanation of this status in your background.
